Our Framework for Community Impact

Guided by community priorities and informed by local data, the Winston-Salem Foundation is committed to keeping pace with the most pressing challenges and opportunities facing our community today, ensuring a brighter future for all who call Forsyth County home.

As a community foundation, we link resources to strategies that expand opportunity, foster connection, and repair harms of our past.

We use many approaches to make an impact:
  • funding community solutions through charitable grants and impact investments
  • supporting local research and convening partners on topics of importance
  • advocating for long-term change

Across all of our work, we prioritize four key areas. Learn more about our priorities and how to get involved below.
