The Education Foundation presented its most recent fundraising totals for the All In For Our Schools campaign to the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Board of Education meeting on March 5. Since the campaign was launched on September 17, 2025, it has raised more than $9 million.
“This community has demonstrated that it is ‘All In’ for our students, our teachers and our schools in so many inspiring ways since this effort started a little over six months ago,” said Marni Eisner, executive director of the Education Foundation. “Not only have individuals, foundations and businesses stepped forward to donate, we’ve had countless volunteers helping to collect school supplies, deliver food to teachers and staff, and giving of their time in the classrooms.”
At the board meeting, Eisner, alongside Winston-Salem Foundation president LaTida Smith, presented updatedgiving totals for the three funds established as part of the All In For Our Schools campaign. The total funds raised are now $9.3 million with a totalimpact of more than $14 million reflecting the additional $5 million debtforgiveness from the Forsyth County Commissioners.
$6,882,660* Raised for WS/FCS Futures Fund specifically to help the district reduce its debt.
*Reaching the $5 million milestone for the WS/FCS Futures Fund enabledthe district to receive full forgiveness of the $5 million it owed to ForsythCounty per a resolution approved by the Forsyth County Commissioners.
$1,525,194 Raised for Education Foundation SchoolSupplies Fund to address the school supplies shortfall forthe current 2025-26 school year, exceeding the Fund’s initial goal of $1.4million. Checks for school supplies were hand delivered to WS/FCS schools inearly January 2026.
$861,072 Raised for the WS/FCS Student Success Fund to help fund specific school needs such as student health assessments, ESL translation services, and otherresources that help students succeed. All dollars raised for the StudentSuccess Fund have been deployed to WS/FCS.
The All In For Our Schools campaign will remain open. Campaign organizers emphasize that local schools continue to have significant needs. The All In For Our Schools website, www.allinforourschools.org, includes links to the three funds as well as the Every Shelf, Every Student book drive and Amazon Wish Lists compiled by each school.
