This non-renewable scholarship provides educational aid for North Carolina residents seeking associate or baccalaureate nursing degrees.  Consideration may also be given to  graduate nursing degrees on a limited basis depending on available funding.  Preference will be given to those pursuing first-time degrees and for those residents in The Winston-Salem Foundation's service area of Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin counties.

Elizabeth T. Williams Memorial Scholarship

This renewable scholarship is for graduating Forsyth County high school seniors who will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  The scholarship will provide four consecutive years of undergraduate in-state tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board.

Edwin H. and Louise N. Williamson Endowed Scholarship

This $1,500 renewable scholarship is for graduating Forsyth County high school seniors who will pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro.  The scholarship will be applied to the cost of tuition, fees, on-campus room and board, books, and other college expenses.

The Winston-Salem Foundation Education Grant

This non-renewable scholarship supports traditional age (less than 23 years old) Forsyth County residents who demonstrate financial need based on income range and number in family as determined by The Winston-Salem Foundation and who will pursue undergraduate degrees, certificates, or diplomas from an accredited educational institution. The amount of the award varies according to the financial need of the student. Eligible applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on their most recent grade transcript.

This $1,000 non-renewable scholarship is for graduating high school seniors who attend a Forsyth County high school and reside in The Winston-Salem Foundation's service area of Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin, or Wilkes counties, and who will pursue post-secondary education at accredited vocational/technical school, community college, or college/university in pursuit of a certificate, diploma, or degree in communications, graphic design, journalism, public relations, creative writing, or digital media or related field.
