Endowed Donor-Advised Funds

Endowed donor-advised funds allow donors to support the causes and organizations they care about. Once a fund is established using cash, stock, or other assets, donors may recommend grants to the nonprofit organizations of their choice without geographic restrictions. The grants will be made in the name of the fund or, if the donor chooses, anonymously. The Winston-Salem Foundation ensures that grant recipients meet accepted criteria for being charitable organizations and are able to fulfill the donor's expectations for the use of the grants.
