William H. Andrews/HAWS Scholarship *

Eligibility: Residents living in a property owned or managed by HAWS, including Section Eight. Scholarships are available for graduating high school seniors and adults wishing to continue a post-secondary education. Two and four year scholarships are available. Scholarships are awarded annually.

Mary Rowena Cooper Scholarship *

Eligibility: Preference for applicants is as follows: orphaned children of Vietnam veterans of the 101st Airborne Division; next, orphaned children of Vietnam veterans of any service unit designation; next, children not orphaned whose parent(s) served in the military during the Vietnam conflict.

Denise Franklin Journalism Scholarship #

Eligibility: High school seniors of Forsyth County planning to pursue a career in journalism, mass communications, or related field of study. A 3.0 minimum CGPA is required and two years involvement with a journalism project or involvement in two different types of journalistic media.
