Marshall B. Bass Scholars Endowment Program at Forsyth Technical Community College #

Eligibility: Those eligible must: be enrolled at Forsyth Tech Community College; be a Forsyth County resident; be a U.S. citizen; have completed at least one academic year at FTCC; have maintained a minimum of 2.5 cumulative grade point average; be in good standing. Minority students are encouraged to apply.

The Garden Club Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County Scholarship *

Eligibility: Provides financial support for educational opportunities to legal residents of North Carolina who have been accepted into the Horticulture Technology or Landscape Architecture curriculums at Forsyth Technical Community College or other accredited post-secondary schools in North Carolina.Available to traditional and non-traditional age students.

Orthopaedic Specialists Nursing Scholarship *

Eligibility: Forsyth County residents seeking a nursing degree at Forsyth Technical Community College or Winston-Salem State University who will, upon completing a degree, practice nursing in Forsyth County, N.C.

N.W. Mitchell / Piedmont Federal Savings and Loan Endowed Scholarship *

Eligibility: Students from Forsyth, Davidson, Davie, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes, and Yadkin Counties are eligible to apply. The fund was established in 2003 by family and friends in honor and memory of Nick Mitchell, Sr. who founded Piedmont Federal Savings & Loan in 1903. It is the intent of the fund to provide merit-based scholarships for worthy students attending Forsyth Technical Community College as first semester students.

Pfafftown Jaycees/Lynn Canada Memorial Scholarship *

Eligibility: Must be a Forsyth County resident attending Forsyth Technical Community College in pursuit of an associate degree in nursing. Must have an unweighted minimum high school or college gpa of at least 2.5. All applicants must be accepted into the nursing program and must provide a letter of acceptance as verification. U.S. citizenship required.

L. Gordon, Jr. and June D. Pfefferkorn Scholarship for Forsyth Technical Community College #

Eligibility: This scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in Forsyth County who will attend Forsyth Technical Community College. This scholarship seeks students who demonstrate promise in academics and requires a high school cumulative GPA of at least 2.5. Demonstration of financial need is preferred, but does not require qualification for federal assistance.
