| Eligibility: | The Douglas Gray Kimel Scholarship will be awarded annually to a college freshman from Forsyth County who will pursue a degree in music from one of the following institutions: North Carolina School of the Arts, Salem College, Wake Forest University, or Winston-Salem State University. This is a one time award of $500. |

Emma Kapp Ogburn Scholarship #
| Eligibility: | Ministerial students who live in Forsyth County are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Forsyth County residents who intend to work as lay persons in the field of Christian Education are also eligible to apply. Awards are made in the form of a grant/loan which is satisfied through years of service in the ministry. If vocational plans change, the grant/loan will be considered a loan and must be repaid by the recipient to the full extent of the amount awarded. |
