The Tom Shown Scholarship *
| Eligibility: | The Tom Shown Scholarship will be awarded to worthy students (traditional and non-traditional) from the counties of Forsyth, Wilkes, Surry, Yadkin, and Davie who plan to attend an accredited two or four year college or university, preferably in North Carolina. The scholarship seeks to identify the student who demonstrates financial need ( not restricted to lower incomes), has a cumulative minimum high school or college gpa of at least 2.7, ideally is employed a minimum of 20 hours monthly (including college work study, and is a U.S. citizen. |
