SUPPORT FOR ASPIRING STUDENTS
The Foundation's 89 year-old Student Aid Program reaches back to 1923, when the first student loan fund was established at the Foundation.
From that point on, our charitable community has come together under the Foundation's guidance with the common goal of helping local students attend college - nearly 14,000 students have been helped since the program's inception. In the 2013-2014 school year alone, the Foundation's 156 student aid funds provided 576 students with over $1.1 million in student aid, including $995,601 in scholarships and $119,200 in low-interest loans.
This longstanding tradition of generous donors supporting aspiring students also reflects the collective belief that higher education will lead to a stronger, and more tolerant and vibrant community, state, nation and ultimately, world. Please let us know how we may be of assistance to you in your own educational or philanthropic pursuits.
The Foundation is no longer accepting student aid applications for the 2013-2014 school year. You may apply for the 2014-2015 academic year beginning on January 1, 2014. Click here to be directed to the Student Aid section of the Foundation's Web site.
